If all states in your FX controller have Write Defaults checked, the logic is WD on.
If you have a state in your FX controller that has Write Defaults unchecked, that's WD off logic.

If you find that your original switches don't work after installing this prop, it's most likely because your FX uses WD on logic and Motion is None. Please use the WD on version of Prefab.

Use prefab in Triturbo/MetalPipe/Prefabs/Old SDK/

Drag the prefab to the root of your avatar in the hierarchy.

The behavior is located in the Effect layer of the Metal Pipe Controller.
